North Pole Nights mini album
Ok, here we go!
Beware, this is a long post with lots of pictures. My mini album with Nikki Sivils' North Pole Nights papers.
I used heat embossing, so love that technique!
The stamp swirl is also Nikki's, from the U R my favorite line

Lots and lots of fabric from Tilda.
The side of the album without the fabric I used Glimmer Mist and Shimmerz Spritz to give it some color.

Xmas long long time ago
This was a challenge on Nikki Sivils' blog, what was Xmas like for you as a child. So I went through my old albums and found only two photo's! This one I remember most, my mum bought new balls for the tree, all blue. That was so modern!
I used (yes, I know I always do) Shimmerz Paint on the flowers, Shimmerz Spitz on the star border (Bazzil), the Big Brads are also Nikki Sivils.
Crystals are hotfix.
Go check out Nikki's blog for more great layouts and the winner of the challenge.
Thanks for looking and enjoy your weekend!

November kit
Today the mail man rang my doorbell so unexpectedly. And there it was ...... MY Creative Scrapbook kit arrived. So early!
I always love the kits, they are so well picked out but this one is SUPER!
Lots of Teresa Collins, she's a sweetheart and makes the most wonderful stuff.
Look at that:
And a layout about friendship.
I will show you the latest sketch with my layout tomorrow,
Did not get a change today to re-do my photo. I'm not satisfied with the first one I made.
Now it's dark, so waiting for a new morning.
Sweet dreams and thank you again for visiting my blog!
Hugs,
Mieke

A little tutorial
Hi all,
Here a little tutoiral, I was working with this Post-it tape and thought that it could be cool to let you see the steps how to get to the layout.
I used Cardstock and patterned paper by Nikki Sivils, Boo-tifulI placed the tape first from top to bottom in the middle and went on to get this:
Then I cut up the paper between the tape, no need to be precize
Then I cut up the paper between the tape, no need to be precize
This is what you have left after cutting
If you like how it looks on your cardstock, glue it down
The book page is from Wuthering Heights that I picked up at a local bookmarket.
I used my Heidi Swapp edge distresser and lots of ink for the egdes
For the edges of the photo I used MM paint
Alpha is chipboard that you can play with how you like it
I used MM paint first
This is one of my favorite techniques, heat embossing, with Blonde Moments
Add some jounaling, bling and flower and ..........
