New sketch Little Shop of Sketches

Goodmorning,
Sunday, early in the morning and I'm all alone, well with my two cats, in the living room surfing the internet. I got up at 6.30. Can you imagine? On a sunday morning? My one day in a week that I can stay in bed....... but I was so awake and happy, so in the mood to create (still wondering if I would just go up to my scraproom and wake up the kids with my trimmer!)
Anyway, as you can see I had fun updating my blog, new backround, new blinkies.
And a new sketch by Tanya. Love the multiple photo's on this one.
Here's my take of the sketch:

I used:
Prima Pastiche "love letter" paper
Distress Ink "Vintage photo" and "Broken China"
Shimmerz Spritz "Bed of roses"
Prima brown ribbon
Lace from local market
Flower home made with a Prima centre
Alpha from Prima, colored with Copic markers
Tattered Angels butterfly with Glimmer Mist and Shimmerz pearlz
Magis Mesh
Prima pearls and crystals
Check out the Little Shop of Sketches blog to see the other layouts, they are so cool!
And find that Tanya is looking for more girls to join the DT, so don't be shy... give it a try!
Enjoy your creative sunday!

PS: have you done the bloghop by Epiphany Crafts? Start here, wonderful price to win
Have you seen Moniques blog lately? Ooohhh so many wonderful inspiration.
My internet is slowing down again. Hate when that happens.... so wanted to give you more links of blogs that inspire me. Well maybe next time.
Do check out Tim Holtz' blog and Graphic 45, you can find the links through my blinkies.
Bought me some paper of the G45 Steampunk Debutante.... so pretty! (and some Bo Bunny as well!!)

Challenge at Ladybug and Friends

A week ago we started a very good challenge at Ladybug and Friends blog, Gry-Heidi made this wonderful sketch. You can read all about it on the blog and see the talented ladies who've made such great cards.
I also made a card, but really I so have to step up to card making, I'm more a scrapbooker... lol!
I'm sure I can learn from the LB&F girls so you will be seeing more cards here.
This is the inside of the card.

I used the sweet teenage girl stamp and LB&F papers and flowers, sprayed with Glimmer Mist
Please check out the blog and join us in the challenge, there is a price to win thanks to Linda.

Little Shop of Sketches # 68

Another wonderful sketch by Tanya is to be found on the blog of Little Shop of Sketches.
Tanya has gone digi this time and that looks great!
I've been playing with my Glimmer Mists to get a backround.
No use of patterned paper this time, just some chipboard by Bo Bunny and E-line Prima crystals.
The ribbon is by Webster Pages.

Thank you for looking, I hope you will visit the LsoS blog and welcome the new designers.
The girls have done a wonderful job on this sketch!
Enjoy your weekend!

Tags, tags, tags

For the monthly challenge at Treasured Scrapbooking I made tags.
I love to do something different then my favorite layouts sometimes.
I've made these two tags, one with a stamped image and one with a photo. I used lots of techniques like misting, stamping and beewaxing.

This tag started with Gesso, then addes some Glimmer mist colors. I stamped the image on top and then started working with the beeswax and Ranger pearl powder.

The second tag is painted with MM paint, then added lots of Glimmer Mist and a bit of MM white paint with water in my Mini Mister.
I stamped with a Ladybug and Friends music stamp, then matted my photo with Ladybug and Friends purple paper, and used Ranger stickles then also some beeswax on top.

The feather is from the Hema, the flower is Ladybug and Friends.
Come join our wonderful challenges, you can win some nice prices, coupons from Treasured Scrapbooking and take a look in the store, there are lots of previous kits with a little discount.
Enjoy your sunday!
