Going away for the weekend

Hi, we just got back out of Friesland, up north here. That was such a wonderful experience! The cabin was great, the view was stunning.
Robin went yachting in the little boat!
This photo was taking just right out of the back door!
I took my new toys with me, Glimmer Glaze from Tattered Angels!
That is the most beautiful product I've seen in a long time.
You know I love my paints but this is just..... Aaaahhhh!!!
I will tell you all about it in the October newsletter of Treasured Scrapbooking.

Last week I made this layout with a twist. It's based on my own sketch at Little shop of Sketches and I used the Treasured Scrapbooking April kit.

I put a piece of the Maya Road mini album on my layout so if you open it you can see another photo cut into pieces!

Ofcourse Glimmer Mist used on the kraft backround

So I'm leaving your for a couple of days to have a scrappy (long) weekend with my best friends.
I bet we're going to have lots of fun, sharing our ideas, create and have a ball!

Talk to you soon,

Hi all, how are you doing? Enjoying your sunday?
Sorry, it has been a while since I updated my blog. I have been busy designing and found a new way to color my stamps.
Yesterday there was a demo at the local craft store about Distress Ink and you know me and my inks..... totally in love! lol!
I bought me a waterpen and started coloring away.

I love the way you can give it some more or less color. This is really my way to color. I won't stop using my Copics, still enjoying them too but this is so much fun!

And then thinking........ if you can do this with Distress Ink, can you do this too with my favorite Glimmer Mists? (and Glam that just arrived)

Here you see the answer.... YES!!

The to the next thing.... Last week there was a new sketch from Tanya at Little Shop of Sketches.

Here's my take of it with the gorgeous Fancy Pants Designs.
I made the backround with Tattered Angels Chalkboard and a piece of fench wire.

DD with her cousin, a few years ago.

again a fabric piece that I made myself with a Prima centre

This next layout is the first I made with the kit of Treasured Scrapbooking:

The DT all chose a different "old" kit. This is the April kit with the add on.
It's packed with paper and lots of embellies.

Then there is a card for Ladybug and Friends. It's an Elisabeth Bell stamp.

Sweet he? The punch is Martha Stewart and the paper and flower by Ladybug and Friends. The flower was with a blue touch but with a little Distress Ink, I turned it into purple matching the paper and stamped image.
The image is colored with Copic Markers

Last but not least I have been playing with a tag. Tissue paper with a sweet flower on it. This paper I received at a store as a wrapping for a gift. Didn't throw it away. Now it came to good use.

Thank you for looking again!
Enjoy your week, make it a creative one! I know I will!

August layouts Treasured Scrapbooking

Hi, August is over but I still want to show you my layouts for Treasured Scrapbooking.
There was so much paper in this kit, I did a mini album and three layouts and still have some paper left!
First is my fav, lots of Glimmer Mist with Tim Holtz Masks, loved working with these products. So wonderful to make my own backround papers. This photo was taken in Nordhorn, Germany last June.
Don't you just love this butterfly? It's from a Hambly paper, sprayed with Glimmer Mist and Stickles around the edges.

The second layout I want to show you is with the Prima papers.
I started with making one sheet wet.
The doiley is made by my mum. So sweet!

I will show you my layout for the September challenge this weekend
(if you can't wait: it's in the gallery on Treasured Scrapbooking)

Enjoy your weekend!
