Sketch # 50

Has it been a fortnight again?
Times flies, here sketch #50 by Tanya Leigh of Little Shop of SketchesAnd here my take of it. I mixed Fancy Pants Craft with Graphic 45.
Bling and flowers are Prima's and I put some sparkle on the flowers with Shimmerz Paints.

I put a ribbon through like you would use a thread.
I forgot to ink the edges of the paper and already glued it on. Auch! So I pulled the edges up, inked them and added little pen stripes. Not bad at all! I'm sorry that the sparkle of the Shimmerz is not to be seen on here.

Thank you for looking at my blog and don't forget to take a look at the LSOS blog where you can find more takes of this sketch.

Magnolia card

Here is to tell you how to get the Magnolia girl to sit on the jar. You start with stamping the girl twice and cut out one of them, put the two over each other with glue or tape that you can remove without a trace.
Then you stamp the jar over the girl, remove the cut out stamped image and....
There you go!

I had some G45 left, Bazzil Craft cardstock, Prima bling and Prima flowers, covered with Shimmerz
Tomorrow a new sketch for Little Shop of Sketches.
Thanks!

New creations

And then it is thursday again, wow how time flies.
Here are the things that I created during our scrapweekend.
First I started with this mini album for Mara, her photo's from group 5 at school.
The chipboard alum and paper is by Nikki Sivils, I adore this Henry Brilliance line. Only finished the first page cause I had so many things I wanted to do.
Then I made a card with Nikki's Boo-tiful and a very cute Bild Malarna stamp from Sweden. Ofcourse I colored the stamped image with Copic Markers.
The apple is from our own tree!

This layout is with Tilda paper and stickers that I got through Monique. It's from Scrapbook Nederland. Maya Road chipboard painted with Blush from MM and Rangers gloss. The red behind the photo is fabric also from Tilda.
The beautiful ladies in the photo are my mum with her mum.

And last but not least, a fall layout with Nikki Sivils Boo-tiful paper line. The little leaves are from the Xenos. The swirl stamp is also Nikki's, just like the little flag and it's stamp.

Yesterday evening our German Shepard dog Julie found a new friend in the garden

Isn't it a sweetie? All rolled up and played dead. We put some cat food next to him or her.
As soon as we went in the house, it ate the food and walked back into the plants. You can hear it making noise, so I believe it stayes near the shed.

I noticed that I have some new followers!
Thank you girls, hope this is enough inspiration for you today.
I'm playing with something I found after cleaning and reorganizing my scraproom. Put some paint and Glimmer Mist on it, now I'm gonna see how that turned out and how I'm going to use it in a layout.
I have a whole weekend planned involving card making (playing with my new Magnolia stamp)and scrapbooking Wooohoo!
Just a last thing to tell you, you might know that I love bling.
Shimmerz has some new colors and it make me ohhhh.... falling head over heals.
I hope it will be available very soon over here!
Have a great day all!

Little Shop of Sketches

Here's sketch #48 of Tanya's Little shop of Sketches. Go have a look what my co - dt'ers made of it. Looking good!
I used Nikki Sivils paper My sweet cherry pie. It's so horsy with the horse shoes.
I love this photo.
She was really saying goodbye to this wonderful horse she rode on this summer. They were a good pair. Mara learned a lot with and from this dear horse called Lisa. Thanks for looking!
Next week I will tell you all about my scrapbook weekend away.

Pixie Cottage

Hi all,

So I'm trying out for the new DT of Pixie Cottage, a stamp company. I really like the website of Michelle's Scrap where Pixie Cottage is a part of. As I love pixies, faeries and witches I would love to be a part of this DT.
For this Got Faerie? card I used plane cardstock, ran it through the Cuttlebug to emboss it.
A little bit of fabric by Tilda, flowers are Prima, with a little touch of Shimmerz. Bling stones are from Zva.
The stamped image is from Susana's colored with Copic Markers.

This layout I made today. Somerset Artist papers, cardstock, Daisy D's paper.

I used Glimmer Mist on the alpha and brown Prima flowers. The green lace and little card I got by ordering a Somerset magazine at Little bookstore.com. The music paper is from an old music book, picked up at a bookmarket.

And this is one of my favorites, love the shape that I got from a Prima package. Paper is Bo Bunny, stamped image from Elizabeth Bell.

Thanks for looking and wish my luck!

new edition

Meet Ginger, our newest edition to the familie.
Her name used to be Droppie (licorice) but Mara didn't like that at all.
So she choose Ginger, that name goes well with our other rabbit Monty.
Friends of our had this 1 year old bunny but their kids didn't pay any attention so it had to go. Well, you know me, I felt sorry for the animal and welcomed it to our home.
Today she came and Mara is allready in love.

Have a good weekend!
PS. her name just changed into Lizzy!

Card

Well, it's about time to blog again!

I have been creative with a layout for Nikki Sivils that I will show later, and a very sweet card.
First you see the stamp, that is from Nikki Sivils line, U R my favorite.
Was planning on show you the whole card first but Blogger won't let me!!
Sorry, well here's the whole card: I found this Cath Kidston paper in the bookstore in Ommen during our vacation.

I knew this was a very nice brand, check out the website for some inspiration.

At a dutch store, Stampinback, where I buy online, I found this cute stamp.
It's Elisabeth Bell's. I used Copic markers and a Gelly roll glitter pen. That one is so fine!

For the lace I used a pin to hold it together

A little stamp on the back of the card
That's it for today.
Hope to be back soon with a boyish layout
Thanks!

Little Shop of Sketches wednesday

Don't you just love this sketch? I do!! Tanya made such a great one. This is what I made of it, MME papers, Bo Bunny buttons and gems, Prima flowers.
The photo's are from 2001, when we went to a theme park for the first time with the kids.
They loved it so much. This year we went back and they still love it!
Only this time they weren't afraid of it all!Go to see what the Design Team of Little Shop of Sketches made it.
I tell you, it's worth the look!
