Another freaking scrappy challenge blog

Have you heard? There is a new kid eh.... challenge blog on the block.

This is going to be so much fun!!!

I have the honours to be a part of the guest team for the first challenge and so proud of that! Thanks a lot Anne.

Here is my layout: It's about my girl and I dreaming about a horse of our own but the dreams are a little different. Mara wants a brown sport pony while I'm in love with Irish Cobs. Looks like we'll have to find a compromise!

I've used the Copic Airbrush system to make the background with the clouds. Have you ever tried it yet? It's fun! I used Authentique for the alpha. Love it! Can't wait to get my hands on the papers.

I also want to share a video with you. You all know how I love Tattered Angels!

Thanks for looking, do check out the new challenge blog and play along.

Sketch # 89

A new sketch for Little Shop of Sketches with multiple photo's.

So much fun to see how this DT used this sketch in such different ways.

This is my take of the sketch, it was fun!

Cardstock unknown, American Crafts Campy trails paper, Martha Stewart writing pen Sepia, Maya Road tiny banner chipboard bits, Epiphany Crafts button, The Twinery bakers twine honeydew, Distress ink Dried Marigold and Dymo omega label writer.

A few weeks ago we went to an open day at KLPD police in Nunspeet where we watched demo's with horses and dogs. So good to see what they are capable off.

Check out the blog of Little Shop and the Ning site, load up your take of the sketch and win!

Thanks for looking!

Sketch #88

Hi all, here's another good sketch from Little Shop of Sketches made by Anne Pennington this time. Thanks Anne, for doing this sketch as such short notice. You Rock!

I've used photo's of Mara's 10th birthday. Lot's of Echo Park from a My Creative Scrapbook kit. The metal comes from my local craft store in Putten, no idea what brand. A splash of Clearsnap Spritz on Bazzil cardstock and a bit of crystals by Prima. The banner is cut with the Tim Holtz die and my cuttlebug.
Thanks for looking!

PS. Check out the Little Shop blog to see what the girls have been up to. It's stunning!
