Fabric with Gesso and Glimmer Mist

A while ago I made this layout with a frame of Fabric with Gesso and different colors of Glimmer Mist. I forgot to make photo's of the steps so I thought I could do this again to make a tutorial for the blog post on Scrapgal last March 31st.
So here are some photo's of my first layout with the frame, the second with the round frame and the tutorial. This is a photo of my grandfather and his brothers and sisters.
The paper, pebbles and crystals are from Prima.

This is the second layout, with KaiserCraft Devonshire paper.

I used my old foam stamps for the title (Creative Imaginations)
Distress Ink by Ranger (Vintage Photo and Broken China)
Prima (Flower centres, E line Crystals and strawberry kisses flower)
KaiserCraft (wooden flower)
Making Memories paint (Ocean Blue)
Ranger Archival Ink (Coffee)

This is the tutorial for Scrapgal

I started with a circle made of cardstock at the size I wanted and some fabric

With lots of glue I put down the fabric on the cardstock

Leave the threads on the fabric, that gives that little extra later on.

I also added some paper from a book and some jute

Then get messy with Gesso. How I love this!

This is the frame with Gesso

While the Gesso is still wet, you can spray your Glimmer Mist on, leave it about 24 hours to dry and ready is your frame to use on your layout or on a canvas.
Enjoy!
