Trying out for Cosmo Cricket's DT

So I just found this DT call at Cosmo Cricket's blog. Being part of that would be a dream.

This is a dubble layout that I made with Dutch girl, so funny as we are Dutch girls! This paper made the photo and the lyrics of Shania Twain's song so wonderful.

Card and Mara's jumping

This afternoon I made a card with Nikki Sivils papers. The round thingie I made from tissues and Glimmer Mist. The stamped image is a Gorjuss girl from Sugar Nellie. Colored it with Copic Markers. The bling stones come from the local craft store.

Mara had her first horse jumping competition. She did really well. I'm so proud of her.

My first layout with Nikki's

Here it is.... the first layout for the Nikki Sivils DT, what do you think of it?

I had fun doing this one. Thinking out of the box, I'm so in my vintage period but this is not really a vintage kinda paper. Think I managed to make it sweet.

Oh, Mara was so tiny in this photo. She still sleeps so relaxed with her little brown cow. Even now she's 10 years old!

The lace is from a cut off sleeve, flowers unknown. Alpha Thickers and rub-ons from Scrapworks. All the rest is Nikki's.

ordered, bought and received

I ordered this Somerset magazine in the States. Together with the latest issue. This magazine gives me so much inspiration. More then CK and other mags do.

I went to Doorn yesterday, scrapshopping at Paper and Pictures. Haven't done that in a long time. Monique came too, we celebrated our 10th year of friendship. Bought way to much ofcourse. We had so much fun. Had a wonderful lunch at the Helena Heuvel, walked 6 km and ate scones after that. Yummmm!!!

When I came home there was a pizza box with the Dolls & Decoration kit (3monthly). It has Doodlebug and MME paper, a paper pad by MM, tags, a stamp, lots of buttons and Thickers. Also there is a clear 12x12 sheet in there that I cut up in 4 pieces.

End of the week (hopefully) the box that Nikki Sivils sent, should arrive. I sure hope so. Cleaned up my desk already so I can start right away! I only have to get some photo's printed.

two layouts

A layout for Mosh Posh Guest DT call, a lo about a man in your life.

So I made a layout about Robin and his favorite toy, the Nintendo DS. I used Chatterbox paper and cardstock, Bazzil star edge and Creative Cafe chipboard. Painted with MM paints and covered it with Crackle gloss by Ranger. Too bad that it doesn't really show on the photo.

This "scrap weekend" layout I made especially for the DT call of Simply Obsessed. What a great place to be. I did see some familiar faces. Here I used Webster pages paper and alpha, Thickers and Prima bling. The lace is from the local market. I cut out the bird and put it up the photo with 3d glue dots.

The DT with Nikki Sivils is getting shape. We are getting to know each other on Face book and we have a special place at Google where we meet online and have seen some yummy stuff!

It's a winner

When I opened my mailbox today there was a personal message from Pam, owner at My Creative Scrapbook..... I won! There's a weekly challenge going on and I won last weeks by using multiple photo's in a layout. That's the same lo that I send in to Nikki's DT call.

It sure is my lucky layout!

I've made a very great layout today, will put it up here tomorrow. And you can find me now on Facebook. Have to find out how it all works but I found some scrapfriends allready!

This photo I made this morning just before Mara went to school. She went to the hairdressers last friday and had her hair knotted (hope that's the right word for it!). Today she got it out and look at the curls!

And here's my take of it, I used the sweet papers of We R Memory Keepers, a stamp (sorry, can't remember what brand!) and Prima's black bling.This was my dear horse Dolaris, when I was 19 years old. He was a big horse, only 4 years old but got sick only a few months after we've got him.

It's official!

One very big Tooooot for me! I'm still confused but it's really up on the blog.

Wooooohooo! I'm soooo happy!!!! So I guess i'm a Willie - Bee now.

Saw some names on the blog that I allready know but most are unknown to me. Love to meet them (online!) and to see their work.

It feels so unreal but so good.

Can't wait to get started.

DT call for Nikki Sivils

Yesterday I made this layout specially for the DT call of Nikki Sivils. She will be at CHA with her own paper line and I love to be a part of it! So fingers crossed!

It had to be a layout about me, I'm usually behind the camera so I'm glad I found photo's with the things I most love to do.

I made this layout with Lily Bee paper, Creative Cafe chipboard flowers, one Prima flower, The round thing on the flower is cover with two colors of Embossing powder.

The lace and ribbon are from the local craft store.

The alpha is painted with Smooch, the color Siren.
For the edges I used Versa color Pine cone.

Challenge LsoS - Oma

Here's my entry for the challenge at LSoS, to do one of the 36 sketches.

This is after sketch #21

Another vintage layout about my (other) grandmother.

I used Chatterbox cardstock, pink Bo Bunny paper, Fabric and lace from the local quilt store. Flower edge is from Bazzil.

I used my sowing machine for this layout, that was a lot of fun. Hope you can see some of it

The Maya Road chipboard is covered with Flowersoft.
If you want to enter to you may want to hurry. It closes thursday morning!

vintage grandfather layout

Here the matching layout. My grandfather with his brother. Again I used Delish Design "Bistro" paper. The felt is Prima as well as the flowers. Alpha is Delish and Heidi Grace.
